MFI Management Team
The MFI Management Team has the leadership experience and a whatever-it-takes attitude to get things done and done
right. The team offers a combined 90 years of professional management experience. We recruit and train employees
who aspire to participate in a team environment and are eager to make the decisions that improve quality and
productivity in the design and fabrication of carts, kiosks, RMUs, merchandisers and modular buildings. MFI employee
empowerment is achieved through an open management culture and a formal team-training program.
Jerry Mayer: Co-owner and President
As the Co-owner and President of MFI, Jerry leads engineering and design, manufacturing, and the installation of
projects for key clients. In addition, Jerry manages all of MFIs Financial, Engineering, Purchasing, and Production
organizations. Two years prior to founding MFI, Jerry was Vice President of Operations for Gateway Computers.
Prior to Gateway, Jerry had seventeen years of executive management experience with Rockwell International in Iowa
and in California. During that time, Jerry was recognized as a national expert in computer integrated manufacturing
and as Division Director of Satellite and Space Electronics Division he managed a successful financial and schedule
turnaround of a multi-plant organization with over 1,200 employees that produced the GPS satellites.
Janet Mayer: Co-owner and CEO
As the Co-owner and CEO of MFI, Janet is instrumental in business development and management of several of MFIs
client accounts. Internally, Janet manages the day-to-day business operations of Human Resources, Sales and Marketing,
and Client Care. Prior to founding MFI, Janet had thirteen years of extensive management experience in business and
engineering computer systems with Rockwell International in Iowa and in California. During that time, she managed
engineering support departments chartered with CAD operations, software development, word processing center services,
and computer acquisition and installation.
Dan Jackson: Production Manager
As Production Manager for MFI, Dan is responsible for Production, which includes: Production Teams Management,
Scheduling, Quality, Safety, and Facilities. Prior to joining MFI, Dan had twenty-eight years of experience as a
General Manager, Plant Manager, and Materials Manager with several manufacturing companies.
Norma Carper: Purchasing Manager
As Purchasing Manager for MFI, Norma is responsible for Purchasing, Subcontracting, Inventory Management, Sales
Order Management, Receiving and Inspection, and Inbound/Outbound Freight. Norma has more than thirty years of
experience in building materials sales, scheduling, inventory control, purchasing, and management.
